In the center of the work of reconciliation, we find the Father. It is His Reconciliation, he is crafting it, he works it and he invites us.
Although the talk about reconcilation, can be misunderstood as secular, we must know that it is God’s reconcilation, not ours.
At the same time, when we talk about Justice, it is the loving and wholesome Justice of God, not ours, not a simplistic political one.
And we should fear to take the words justice, reconciliation in our mouths, even partly in politics. But Father God is the source of love.
This is what I as a conservative christian bring with me from Mandela.
